Started the first course in UCLA’s Fundamentals of Photography Certificate program today. I’ve been getting a lot of really great feedback on the images I’ve shared - online and off - and figured I might as well see how far I can take it. Really excited to see where this takes me. On a more serious note, please pray/think good thoughts for my uncle. My auntie died 2 months ago, and he had surgery last Tuesday for a pacemaker/difibrulater(? Dunno the spelling) to be put in. Alhamdulilah he’s alright and recovering. However, he just found out on like Friday, that one of his sons has brain and lung cancer and is in hospice. My heart is breaking for him right now....

2011 was an awesome year for me - lots of growth both personally and professionally. I’m really excited and curious about all 2012 has to offer. I see a number of different opportunity paths opening up so it will be awesome to see what direction life takes. I feel more ready than ever.
